Family caregivers — anyone caring for a parent, spouse, or another loved one, whether they're nearby or coordinating from a distance, and whether they're doing it alone or sharing the work with other family members.
No. Lantern is a companion, not a replacement — it doesn't diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, and it's never a substitute for your loved one's doctors or care team.
Lantern's AI Conversations give you somewhere to talk through a question or a hard moment, grounded only in what you've already shared through your check-ins — never a diagnosis, never a guess, and never medical advice.
Yes. Lantern is built around a shared Care Circle so everyone helping out — not just one person — can stay informed together, instead of the details living in one person's head or a long text thread.
No. Lantern never diagnoses any medical condition, including Alzheimer's. Anything about a loved one's health that appears in Lantern is only what a caregiver has entered themselves — Lantern doesn't determine or confirm a diagnosis.
Not yet — Lantern is still in the lead-up to launch. You can sign up for early access on the homepage, and we'll be in touch as soon as it's ready.
Once a week, Lantern gathers your Daily Check-Ins from that week into one summary — positive observations, patterns worth noticing, and anything worth bringing up at the next appointment — generated automatically from what you've already shared, with nothing new to fill out.
Everyone invited to a loved one's Care Circle can see the same shared activity, chat with each other, and leave notes in one place — so updates don't have to be repeated to each person individually.
What you share stays within your own private Care Circle — it's not public, and it isn't shared outside the family and helpers you invite. Lantern doesn't pull in outside records or use your information for anything beyond reflecting it back to your Care Circle.
Not today — exporting isn't available yet. If that changes before or after launch, we'll update this answer rather than leave it vague.
